Responsibilities Pricing as a growth lever (opportunity-driven pricing) Derive market- and opportunity-specific pricing strategies to maximize growth and financial results Actively set prices for specific business opportunities (e.g., projects, key accounts, new applications) rather than relying solely on model-based approaches Assess price leeway based on customer segment, competitive situation and strategic relevance Develop and run business cases at the opportunity level (price vs. volume vs. strategic fit) Ensure pricing consistency with overarching corporate objectives while maintaining high flexibility in application Identify and prioritize high-value business opportunities in global markets Develop commercial levers to monetize new applications and markets Work closely with Sales to realize targeted growth opportunities Conduct competitor analyses to derive concrete pricing and positioning decisions Manage the portfolio with a focus on profitable growth through targeted opportunities Align pricing, positioning and customer value with specific business opportunities Support innovation by commercially evaluating and prioritizing initiatives Report directly to the Head of the Commercial Business Unit Collaborate closely with internal interfaces such as Sales, Customer Service, Technical Product Management and Application Engineering Play an active role in cross-functional projects, process optimizations and change initiatives Requirements Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in the B2B environment, ideally with a focus on pricing, commercial product management or business development Industry experience in rubber and/or plastics is an advantage Strong commercial and analytical thinking combined with a high customer orientation Solid understanding of sales situations, negotiation dynamics and customer-value logic Proven ability to quickly assess opportunities and convert them into commercially optimal solutions Experience working with ERP systems as well as KPI and reporting logics Very good German and English language skills Willingness to travel for occasional business trips #J-18808-Ljbffr
