The role focuses on translating Evotec’s scientific capabilities into compelling market narratives, generating qualified pipeline, and supporting Business Development in engaging target accounts.Working closely with Business Development, Lead Generation, Operations, and subject matter experts, the Marketing Manager drives campaigns, content, and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen Evotec’s positioning across the R&D value chain.Success in this role is measured not only by campaign execution but by tangible business outcomes - including qualified pipeline creation, improved funnel conversion, increased engagement with strategic accounts, and strengthened market visibility for Evotec’s end-to-end R&D capabilities.**Key Responsibilities****Commercial Collaboration & Sales Enablement*** Partner closely with Business Development and lead acquisition to align marketing programs with commercial priorities and target accounts.* Support funnel progression by tracking marketing leads, ensuring effective handover, and improving MQL-to-SQL conversion.* Provide sales enablement materials including battlecards, competitive positioning insights, and tailored messaging for different customer segments.* Coordinate with vendors and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.**Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution*** Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with Evotec’s commercial priorities and growth objectives.* Design multi-channel programs across digital and physical channels (web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, webinars, conferences, and events) to generate qualified pipeline.* Support account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives that engage priority pharma and biotech accounts and drive progression from awareness to commercial opportunities.**Positioning & Messaging*** Translate Evotec’s scientific capabilities into clear and differentiated value propositions and market narratives.* Contribute to category narratives that position Evotec within integrated CRO–CDMO models and partnership-based R&D collaborations.* Develop messaging that highlights Evotec’s flexible partnership models, including standalone services, integrated programs, and portfolio-level partnerships.**Content & Thought Leadership*** Oversee the development of high-quality marketing content including whitepapers, case studies, application notes, blogs, videos, and data-driven visuals.* Ensure content aligns with the buyer journey and supports both brand visibility and demand generation.* Strengthen Evotec’s thought leadership by positioning the company and its experts across the R&D value chain.**Analytics & Performance Optimization*** Define and track marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and pipeline contribution.* Use CRM and marketing automation tools to monitor funnel performance and optimize marketing ROI.* Generate insights from campaign performance, market intelligence, and customer engagement data to improve marketing effectiveness.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.* 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in life sciences, biotech, CRO/CDMO, pharma, or healthcare sectors.* Proven experience executing integrated marketing campaigns in complex, science-driven environments.* Strong ability to translate scientific concepts into clear customer value propositions.* Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).* Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.* Commercial mindset with a data-driven and creative approach to marketing.* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantageFR : Dans le cadre de sa politique Diversité, Evotec étudie, à compétences égales, toutes les candidatures dont celles des personnes en situation de handicap.ENG : In the frame of our Diversity policy, Evotec considers, with equal competences, all applications including people with disabilities.### About UsEvotec is a life science company with a unique business model that delivers on its mission to discover and develop highly effective therapeutics and make them available to the patients.
