As our portfolio continues to expand beyond sequencing into integrated multi‑omics solutions, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help drive market adoption across Central Europe. Position Summary As Marketing Manager – Central Europe, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies that accelerate awareness, demand generation and commercial success across the complete MGI portfolio.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of customer applications, strong digital marketing expertise and the ability to communicate the clinical, operational and economic value of MGI solutions throughout the customer buying journey.
You will own the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, digital engagement programs, webinar series, customer success stories and scientific content that generate measurable business impact.
What You Will Deliver During your first 12–18 months, you will: Increase awareness and adoption of MGI technologies across key customer segments throughout Central Europe. Build application‑focused marketing programs that support the complete MGI portfolio, including sequencing, automation, and multi‑omics solutions.
Generate qualified commercial opportunities through integrated digital marketing campaigns. Establish a scalable webinar program using Vimeo that positions MGI as a scientific thought leader. Develop compelling value‑based messaging demonstrating how MGI solutions improve customer workflows, productivity and scientific outcomes.
Strengthen commercial execution by providing high‑quality sales enablement tools, competitive positioning and customer success stories. Build strong relationships with KOLs, reference laboratories and strategic partners. Deliver measurable marketing KPIs including lead generation, webinar engagement, campaign ROI and sales pipeline contribution.
Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Marketing Strategy Develop and execute the regional marketing strategy aligned with business objectives. Translate global product strategies into localised campaigns for Central European markets. Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive opportunities to support commercial growth. 2.
Application‑Focused Marketing Develop marketing programs centred around customer applications rather than individual products. Create scientific content highlighting workflows, clinical utility and research outcomes. Collaborate closely with application specialists and product managers to ensure technical accuracy. 3.
Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Plan and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, web and paid channels. Develop customer nurture campaigns that support every stage of the buying process. Measure campaign performance and continuously optimise based on data and customer insights.
Own the regional webinar strategy. Manage end‑to‑end webinar execution using Vimeo, including planning, speaker coordination, promotion, live moderation and post‑event lead nurturing. Build an annual scientific webinar calendar aligned with strategic applications and product launches. 5.
Value‑Based Marketing Develop messaging that clearly communicates scientific, operational and economic value. Produce customer case studies, ROI tools, application guides and competitive positioning materials. Support the commercial organisation with value‑selling resources that strengthen customer conversations.
Develop regional launch plans for new products and applications. Coordinate launch activities across Sales, Applications, PR and Digital Marketing. Monitor launch performance and recommend optimisation actions. Commercial Enablement Provide marketing tools that enable Sales and distributors to effectively position MGI solutions.
Deliver competitive intelligence and customer insights. Support training initiatives and internal product education. Performance Measurement Define marketing KPIs aligned with business objectives. Monitor campaign effectiveness, lead generation, pipeline contribution and return on marketing investment.
Present regular business reviews with actionable recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related discipline. MBA or advanced scientific degree is advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B marketing within life sciences, genomics, molecular diagnostics or biotechnology.
Demonstrated success executing regional marketing strategies that generated measurable commercial results. Experience supporting product launches within the genomics or diagnostics market. Strong understanding of NGS workflows and emerging multi‑omics technologies.
Experience marketing to research institutes, hospitals, clinical laboratories and sequencing service providers. Digital marketing strategy and campaign management. Webinar management using Vimeo and Marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce or equivalent). Marketing analytics and KPI reporting.
Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German, would be an advantage. Strong content development and scientific communication skills. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. Customer‑centric and application‑focused. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
