About the Role Engine is building the infrastructure to dominate group travel.
Darum lohnt es sich
Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range: $206,000—$285,100 USD Competitive base pay tied to role and experience, with opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and equity. Benefits: comprehensive benefits package (details available at engine.com/culture).
Perks and benefits may vary based on employment type, location, and more. #J-18808-Ljbffr As Principal PM for Groups Connectivity, you will own the foundational layer that makes group hotel inquiries turn into bookings in minutes or days. This high‑autonomy role sits at the intersection of product, partnerships, and platform architecture.
Responsibilities Own the connectivity roadmap: define and drive the strategy for how Engine integrates with hotel supply at scale, including PMS partnerships, real‑time availability pipelines, and APIs that enable instant group booking.
Drive hotel response rate to zero‑friction: build product strategies and integrations to increase partner RFP response rates at scale. Architect platform‑level thinking: design connectivity infrastructure that supports internal Groups workflows and potential B2B API offerings for the broader travel ecosystem.
Lead cross‑functional alignment: partner with Groups Contracting, Engineering, RevOps, and external supply partners to surface bottlenecks, prioritize high‑leverage opportunities, and ship solutions that compound over time.
Bring AI into the mix: identify opportunities for intelligent automation and AI‑assisted workflows (e.g., document interpretation, RFP matching, contract comparison) to accelerate cycle times and reduce manual overhead. Qualifications 10+ years in product management, with meaningful experience building platform or connectivity products at scale.
Proven background with APIs, integrations, or supply‑side infrastructure; experience in travel, hospitality, or adjacent industries is a plus. Technical depth: comfortable discussing complex system constraints with principal engineers and external partners and translating them into clear product decisions.
Builder’s instincts: operate in environments with ambiguity, define problems before solving them, and build standalone business cases, roadmaps, and supplier relationships rapidly. Transformational mindset: focus on radically improving the foundation of group travel booking rather than optimizing edge cases.
Stakeholder range: adept at product reviews and partner negotiations, bringing structure to cross‑functional chaos without slowing delivery. Equity and variable pay (OTE) may be included based on experience, expertise, and location. Perks: hybrid‑hub work model, flexible location options, and a supportive environment for success.
