In this role, you will lead the Trip Planner team, shaping a multi‑quarter to multi‑year vision for how travelers plan and manage their whole trip with Agoda.
You will have dedicated engineering capacity that you are accountable for directing and prioritizing, and are expected to be hands‑on with your teams, with strong technical understanding of Agoda’s systems.
You will champion a culture that balances traveler experience with KPI optimization and quality, driving cross‑team initiatives that meaningfully improve our Trip Planner product. Work collaboratively with Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning engineering, Marketing, Legal and UX teams on cutting‑edge technologies.

If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us. The opportunity This role is SINGAPORE-BASED. Our Principal Product Managers are analytical, data‑driven product leaders who independently drive large, complex initiatives end‑to‑end.
As our Trip Planner Principal Product Manager, you will lead a group of Product Managers and partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and business functions to define strategy and align stakeholders around a clear roadmap for the trip canvas and cross‑product travel experiences.
Beyond your immediate scope, you are an agent of change and a culture carrier: you initiate better ways of working and you help develop other PMs by modeling Agoda’s product principles and leadership behaviors. In this role, you’ll get to: Lead and develop a group of Product Managers, providing clear direction, coaching, and actionable feedback.
Shape product vision and roadmap aligned with Agoda’s business goals. Analyze the online travel ecosystem, markets, competitive landscape and user requirements. Conceptualize, launch and optimize products and features, experiment, test their performance and iterate quickly.
Develop innovative solutions to some of the world’s difficult problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions. What you’ll need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline).
Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision‑making. Strong data skills. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English) with proven ability to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction to different stakeholders. Experience developing and launching products.
Experience leading global product vision, go‑to‑market strategy and design discussions. Experience in travel planning, trip management, or itinerary products (e.g., trip planners, travel assistants, or similar multi‑product experiences). Understanding of generative AI and machine learning concepts.
Entrepreneurial and analytical skills; effective at breaking down complex problems and driving and managing change. Hands‑on mentality. It’s great if you have: MBA or Master’s degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science or Statistics. Data tools – SQL, Python, R, or equivalent.
