Position Product Manager (Berlin or freelancer in Germany) Responsibilities Funnel Management & Conversion: work with Risk Department to manage portfolio quality while keeping strong commercial domain.

Build segmentation that reflects both profitability and default rate. Support decisions that balance growth, approvals, risk, and long‑term value. Align offer and decisioning logic with responsible lending principles. Retention & Lifetime Value. Unit Economics & Profitability.

Compliance, Legal & Regulatory: ensure product design and communication comply with consumer lending laws and keep a clear distinction between mandatory and voluntary product elements. Work with Legal and Compliance on new launches, changes, and disclosures.

Analyze product complaints from customers, partner banks, and regulators and turn them into improvements. Lead product analytics across funnel, approval, conversion, take‑up, retention, revenue, and profit. Design and run A/B tests to improve conversion and customer lifetime value. Build business cases and review post‑launch performance.

Use data to find friction points and prioritize opportunities. Cross-Functional Leadership Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver product initiatives. Qualifications Required Experience: 4+ years of Product Management experience. Strong understanding of lending products, customer acquisition funnels, and credit risk concepts.

Experience working with data‑driven decision making. Proven track record of launching and scaling digital financial products. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with product and portfolio metrics. Confident and practical English language skills; German is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in subprime lending or near‑prime consumer finance. Understanding of underwriting, credit scoring, fraud prevention, and collections processes. Knowledge of German and EU consumer lending regulations. Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, and product analytics platforms. Membership of Urban Sports (employees only).
