Therefore, collaborate closely with license partner teams – R&D, PM, QA, S&M.
• Partner with licensee’s product safety, tech development, materials, packaging, and brand marketing to uphold quality, safety and brand standards.
• Review and interpret QA reports, test protocols, and audit results provided by licensees to ensure compliance with ZEISS quality standards.
ZEISS, a leading supplier of optical and optoelectronic technologies, is bundling units outside the divisions in the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit that offer customers a wide range of optical and photonic technologies in highly specialized markets around the world: mobile imaging, hunting & nature, cinematography, microoptics, spectroscopy, planetariums and simulation projection solutions.
Your role
• Technical evaluation and consultancy role for licensee’s product portfolio (analog & digital products), mainly in Hunting & Nature industry.
• Consultation in acquisition process for new license leads generation in consumer electronics, photography or other related fields of optics (B2C).
• Analyze, align and review product strategy documents that describe product roadmaps, innovation pipelines, consumer targets, technical requirements, assortment direction, and distribution strategies.
• Drive and track high-priority projects and serve as a strategic partner.
Your profile
• Degree in (industrial) engineering, product management, business development or similar.
• Several years of proven experience in technical product management, preferably within the hunting and nature industry or similar environment in optical products for B2C and experience in brand licensing.
• Experience in quality management systems and QA reports, understanding of test procedures, certification and standards.
Ability to strategically evaluate technical content.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex lab test reports and quality assurance documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with licensee partners.
• Fluent in English, German and Chinese as a bonus.
• Ability to travel up to 15%
