The role ensures that customer requirements, market developments, technical capabilities and commercial objectives are translated into competitive products and sustainable growth opportunities. • Own and continuously develop the global product portfolio across blasting abrasives and industrial minerals. • Manage the complete product lifecycle from product introduction to phase-out. • Define portfolio priorities and support portfolio simplification. • Monitor product profitability and recommend portfolio improvements. • Identify customer needs and translate them into new product concepts. • Lead product development projects in collaboration with Operations, Procurement and Quality. • Support the introduction of sustainable and innovative product solutions. • Evaluate new raw materials, applications and technologies. • Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitive developments. • Build structured customer and application knowledge. • Identify new applications and market opportunities. • Develop business cases for new products and portfolio extensions.

Market & Customer Insights • Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitive developments. • Build structured customer and application knowledge. • Identify new applications and market opportunities. • Develop business cases for new products and portfolio extensions.

Cross-functional Collaboration • Act as the central interface between Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality. • Ensure customer requirements are reflected in product specifications and manufacturing capabilities. • Coordinate product launches and product changes across all functions. • Support continuous product improvement initiatives.

Your profile • 5–10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Portfolio Management or Technical Sales within an industrial B2B environment. • Experience in abrasives, industrial minerals, construction materials, steel, chemicals or related industries is advantageous. • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management. • Commercial mindset combined with technical understanding. • Experience working closely with Sales and Operations. • Strong analytical and project management skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Fluent English required; German advantageous.
