Product Manager (SEM, 12 - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract, Parental Cover)

• KAYAK is seeking a Product Manager, Marketing to own and optimize our SEM Marketing Landing Pages—the critical first touchpoint for millions of travelers finding their perfect trip through search marketing • In this fixed-term role (12-18 months), you will bridge marketing performance with user experience, driving measurable improvements through rigorous experimentation and data-driven optimization • As Product Manager for SEM Landing Pages, you will lead a cross-functional team including Engineering, Design, SEO, and Performance Marketing to develop, test, and iterate on landing page experiences that convert • You will own the hypothesis-to-insight pipeline: identifying opportunities, designing A/B tests, analyzing results, and translating findings into actionable product improvements • This role requires both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, as you’ll need to balance long‑term vision with the discipline of rapid testing and learning • Own the SEM landing page product roadmap, prioritizing features and experiments based on conversion impact, user experience, and alignment with marketing objectives • Design and execute a continuous testing program, developing hypotheses, running A/B and multivariate tests, and driving statistically rigorous analysis to inform product decisions • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering (who build the pages), SEO (for organic/paid alignment), Design (for user experience), and Performance Marketing (for campaign strategy and goals) • Manage the full product lifecycle for landing page features, from initial concept and user research through technical requirements, sprint planning, launch, and post-launch measurement • Analyze performance data using SQL, analytics tools, and testing platforms to identify friction points, growth opportunities, and winning variations • Champion the user perspective while balancing business goals, ensuring landing pages deliver value to travelers while meeting marketing efficiency targets • Communicate insights and progress to product leadership and marketing stakeholders, translating test results into strategic recommendations • Drive continuous improvement through iterative testing, performance monitoring, and a relentless focus on conversion rate optimization Benefits • Work flexibly: Our global flexible work policy lets our teams decide if they head into one of our offices or work from anywhere else • Team-wide time off: Most of our team disconnects at the same time each year to recharge and reconnect • Global volunteer week: Take VTO (Volunteer Time Off) to support the organizations and charitable efforts you believe in • Wellness: We take care of each other - providing opportunities and spaces to live that work-life balance • Resource groups: Our five ERGs are employee-led groups for underrepresented communities and their allies • Career growth: We provide opportunities for our team to develop their skills – or learn new ones – on their own terms Qualifications • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent hands‑on professional experience • Bring a strong sense of user empathy and a passion for building products that solve real‑world traveler problems • Possess a proven ability to independently manage and ship product features in an agile environment • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus across technical and non‑technical teams • Have demonstrated experience owning product features from concept to launch, including managing a backlog and working with engineering squads • Have 3‑5+ years of hands‑on experience in product management, preferably in a B2C tech, e‑commerce, or travel company • Maintain strong analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing and data analysis to drive strategic decisions • Thrive in a high‑ownership environment where you can take initiative and move projects forward with minimal supervision
