Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex supply chain data, including inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and delivery performance.
• Identify trends, patterns, and root causes of supply chain issues and inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key supply chain metrics and KPIs.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing inventory management, transportation routes, and warehousing operations.
• Support the implementation of supply chain improvement projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, procurement, operations) and external partners to gather data and implement solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics providers and third-party vendors.
• Assist in the development of supply chain models and scenario planning.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management and logistics.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all supply chain analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
• Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems is beneficial.
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
• Understanding of the South African logistics landscape is an advantage.
