Position Summary Reporting directly to the Head of Product, the Senior Product Manager will develop and lead key product areas within the Okendo Platform. You will influence and collaborate deeply with the broader functional areas within the organization.
How you’ll create impact Product: Conduct continuous product discovery to identify customer problems and turn those insights into a long‑term product strategy that you will execute to build products that delight customers. Data and Metrics: Define success metrics for your product area, and drive alignment for all product efforts to those measures.
Leadership: Leverage leadership skills to navigate ambiguous green‑field product opportunities by applying data analysis, critical thinking and creativity to craft a product vision. Communication: Motivate and influence key stakeholders, drive buy‑in for your ideas, and tell exceptional stories around why and what we should build.
What we need from you Experience: 5+ years in a product management role at a SaaS product‑led company demonstrating the ability to drive meaningful outcomes. Product Management: Strong customer empathy and use of qualitative and quantitative methods to understand customer problems and needs to ensure product/market fit.
Thorough evaluation of market, competitor and commercial landscape to offer differentiated products. Excellent understanding of product tools, end‑to‑end lifecycle and product practices. Strong attention to detail, focus on quality and timely execution.
Collaboration: Strong collaborative work style and background with ability to lead and facilitate cross‑functional workshops to drive outcomes. Logical negotiation and influence of stakeholders on all product matters.
Communication: Great communicator and storyteller who can articulate ideas clearly and succinctly (both verbal and written) while influencing a diverse group of stakeholders. 1‑Month Success Understand Okendo’s platform offering, market landscape, business domain and KPIs. Identify key stakeholders and start interacting with them.
Get familiar with the current product roadmap and start leaning in. 6‑Month Success Delivered planned initiatives on the product roadmap. Understood the importance of zero/first‑party data and started identifying product opportunities for merchants.
Employed continuous discovery and developed a deep understanding of customers, their needs and pain points. Showcased ability to consistently measure, learn and iterate on product features.
Worked well with peer and stakeholder groups. 1‑Year Success Contributed to product strategy with impactful, innovative ideas and made a case for product direction. Deeply cared about product KPIs and actively built a strategy around moving the needle. Understood the e‑commerce landscape and anticipated trends.
