Software Product Manager – Internal Efficiency ART (m/f/d) Location: Böblingen (on‑site, partial remote work possible) Advantest is a global leader in automated test systems for the semiconductor industry.

In this senior product role you will own the vision, roadmap and backlog for the Internal Efficiency Agile Release Train (ART), driving the transition to AI‑native software engineering within our 93KSWR&D organization. Define and prioritize high‑impact initiatives that improve engineering productivity, software quality, and development efficiency.

Promote reuse, standardization and alignment across locations and Business Units. Establish meaningful metrics to measure adoption, productivity improvements and business impact. Work closely with the Release Train Engineer to ensure effective execution while maintaining ownership of product strategy and priorities.

Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, Program Manager or Project Manager for large‑scale software solutions.

Strong understanding of AI technologies, large language models, AI agents and their application to software engineering. Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD, tooling, automation and engineering analytics. Ability to define strategy, prioritize effectively and balance competing business demands.

Experience driving technology adoption, organizational change or engineering transformation initiatives in large software organizations. Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large (>500 engineers) distributed software projects with strong HW/SW interaction.

Experience in scaled agile environments (e.g. In‑depth knowledge of Advantest products and solutions (93K, T2K, SLT, ASV, Memory, etc.). Background in regulated industries (automotive, medical, aerospace). German, Japanese and/or Chinese language skills.
