For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a V2G Product Manager We welcome you to join a growing team of extraordinarily talented and enthusiastic people, developing tailor-made cars for the European market.

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Collaborate with domestic R&D and the German embedded systems team to drive the entire product lifecycle—from project initiation and development to TÜV/CE certification, prototype testing, and localized market launch.

Familiar with the IPD product lifecycle process; capable of coordinating with R&D teams both domestically and internationally; experience working on‑site overseas is preferred.

Join our dynamic team and be a part of our company’s growth and success! #J-18808-Ljbffr Responsibilities Conduct in-depth research on the European V2G market; track EU grid regulations, ISO 15118, V2H/V2X standards, time-of-use electricity rates in various countries, and policies on integrated residential solar-storage-vehicle systems; produce market analysis and competitive benchmarking reports.

Lead product planning for European V2G bidirectional charging stations and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems; develop a 3-year product roadmap; and produce PRDs, specification definitions, and unique selling propositions.

Translate the needs of European households, commercial and industrial fleets, and grid service providers into product features; coordinate the collaborative design of hardware, software, and energy storage systems.

Produce English product manuals and sales training materials; provide pre-sales technical support to overseas channels; and continuously collect end-user feedback to drive product iterations. Oversee the planning of value-added features such as V2G virtual power plants and demand response, aligning them with European energy business models.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher from a full-time program in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, New Energy, or a related field.

At least 5 years of product management experience in charging stations, V2G, or energy storage; at least 3 years of hands‑on product experience in the European market; and a track record of fully leading the overseas launch of one V2G product.

Proficient in ISO 15118, OCPP, and V2G communication protocols; familiar with EU CE, TÜV, and VDE grid connection safety certification requirements. Familiar with European residential solar-storage-vehicle integration scenarios, dynamic pricing, and virtual power plant business logic.

Fluent in business English; German at B1 level or higher preferred; able to independently produce product requirements and market reports entirely in English.
