About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team, focusing on optimizing operations within the FMCG sector. This role is critical for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from production to the end consumer, particularly for their operations supporting Richards Bay . You will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements across inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock distribution, and implement strategies to minimize carrying costs and stock-outs.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to logistics, transportation, and warehousing processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure timely delivery and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with supply chain management software (ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment supporting teams that may interact with locations like Richards Bay .
