Group Product Manager (d/f/m) – lead the Consumer Orientation Product organisation at mobile.de.

Responsibilities Lead, coach, and grow a group of 3–5 Product Managers and co‑lead a cross‑functional organisation of ~30 people with Engineering, Design, and Data Science. Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for consumer orientation, covering user arrival, journey guidance, value communication, and trust‑building moments.

Own the consumer experience across key surfaces including the homepage, SEO/SEA landing pages, marketing entry points and in‑product advertising, ensuring every touchpoint feels relevant, frictionless, and on‑brand. Drive measurable outcomes across key metrics such as dealer leads, CSAT, engagement and return visits.

Build deep consumer understanding through qualitative research, Jobs‑to‑Be‑Done frameworks, experience mapping, and continuous experimentation (A/B testing). Champion AI and emerging technologies, translating conversational car‑buying assistants and agentic use cases into tangible consumer value at scale.

Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing and Business stakeholders to develop solutions that solve real consumer problems and support adjacent business goals (e.g., Leasing, Financing, Private Selling).

Represent the consumer voice in cross‑functional and strategic discussions, acting as the connective tissue between user needs and business outcomes. Qualifications 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing Product Managers in a consumer‑facing or platform environment.

Strategic and hands‑on; able to set a compelling vision and direction while rolling up your sleeves and delivering real shipped outcomes. Consumer‑obsessed and outcome‑driven with deep understanding of user journeys and friction removal.

Skilled at consumer orientation and experience design, thinking holistically about entry points and trust‑building moments. Fluent with AI and data, comfortable collaborating with ML and Data Science partners, and motivated to push the frontier of AI capabilities.

Strong analytical capability, using data and experimentation to guide decisions, prioritisation and insight generation. Adaptable and resilient in a fast‑changing environment, thriving on ambiguity and turning it into opportunity. Experience in marketplaces, e‑commerce, large‑scale consumer platforms or AI‑driven products is a strong plus.
