AI coding assistants now account for a meaningful share of the development happening on Supabase, with agents writing migrations, provisioning infrastructure, and querying databases through the MCP server and agent skills. Ensuring the abstractions are correct is the whole job.
You own the MCP server, agent skills, and the evaluations that determine whether any of it is working. What You’ll Be Responsible For Rethink the PM job when most users are agents. Apply the AI lens to product decisions, covering defaults, error messages, breaking changes, naming, deprecations, and documentation.
Decide what gets built, deferred, or cut each quarter, and defend those calls when stakeholders push back. Define launch metrics before shipping—developer activation, task completion, and AI eval scores—and track their impact after launch. Keep engineering, design, and lead
