Product Manager, Business Development Owner – Utilities Customer Group

• Identify and analyze new business models and applications in the utilities sector. • Develop new customer relationships; design and implement effective strategies to increase the quantity and quality of leads from the utilities sector. • Evaluate and qualify leads according to predefined criteria to ensure alignment with company objectives. • Proactively engage prospective customers, analyze their needs, and assess fit with the company's solutions. • Identify trends, opportunities and competitive dynamics in the utilities sector. • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads. • Provide regular feedback and insights to continuously improve lead generation and qualification processes. • Monitor and report relevant metrics in lead management, deriving actionable recommendations. • Build and prepare the foundation for later scaling into international markets through the sales organization.

Requirements • Completed technical degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Mechanical or Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification. • Several years of experience with products for power plants and energy systems, preferably internal combustion engines (>3 years). • Several years of professional experience in business development, product management, or sales, ideally in the utilities sector (>5 years). • Strong teamworking skills. • Confident presence, strong presentation skills and excellent verbal communication. • High level of analytical and conceptual ability. • Excellent written and spoken English. • Willingness to travel 20-40%.
