ABOUT THE TEAM The CMS team owns the systems that power content creation, collaboration, and delivery across storefronts. As commerce becomes increasingly AI‑driven, the CMS team is at the forefront of defining how content, data, agents, and commerce workflows come together.
Our team consists of product managers, engineers, and designers who care deeply about craft, experimentation, and customer impact. Leverage modern AI development workflows and tools to accelerate product discovery, specification, and validation.
Collaborate with platform teams to ensure CMS capabilities integrate seamlessly with storefront, search, merchandising, and commerce services. Influence product direction across multiple teams and contribute to VTEX’s broader platform strategy.
AI‑Native Mindset You have strong knowledge of modern AI technologies and concepts, including large language models, agents, tool calling, MCPs (Model Context Protocol), retrieval systems, AI workflows, and emerging development paradigms.
Familiarity with modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Spec Kit, or similar platforms.

As the Product Manager for CMS, you will shape how brands, marketers, developers, and AI systems create, manage, and deliver digital experiences on VTEX.
You will be responsible for defining the next generation of content management capabilities, helping customers move faster from idea to production while maintaining the flexibility and performance required by enterprise commerce. You will work at the intersection of commerce, content, AI, developer experience, and user experience.
Success in this role requires strong product judgment, technical curiosity, and a passion for building. We expect you to be comfortable turning ideas into working prototypes, leveraging tools like Claude Code, Spec Kit, AI coding assistants, agents, MCP-based workflows, and other emerging technologies to validate solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for VTEX CMS. Identify opportunities where AI can fundamentally improve content creation, management, personalization, governance, and delivery. Work closely with engineering and design to build best‑in‑class content management experiences for enterprise commerce.
Rapidly validate ideas through prototypes, proofs of concept, and experimentation. Partner with customers to deeply understand content operations, publishing workflows, developer needs, and business challenges. Drive product decisions through a combination of customer insights, market research, experimentation, and data analysis.
Stay at the forefront of AI, developer tooling, content management, and digital experience trends, identifying opportunities that create durable competitive advantages. Define clear success metrics and continuously measure product impact, adoption, and customer outcomes.
WHO YOU ARE Builder First You are passionate about building products and turning ideas into reality. You regularly use AI tools to accelerate your work and are excited about the future of AI‑native product development. You are comfortable creating prototypes, workflows, mock implementations, or technical proofs of concept yourself.
You believe that reducing the distance between an idea and customer validation is a competitive advantage. Strong Product Thinker You have experience leading product strategy and execution for complex software products. You can balance long‑term vision with pragmatic decision‑making and fast iteration.
You understand how to identify customer problems worth solving and translate them into successful products. You understand both the opportunities and limitations of AI systems and can apply them thoughtfully to real customer problems. You actively experiment with new tools and techniques to improve product outcomes.
Technically Curious You are comfortable discussing technical architecture, APIs, integrations, developer workflows, and platform capabilities. You can effectively collaborate with engineers and make informed product tradeoffs. Previous experience with developer platforms, content management systems, AI products, or enterprise SaaS is a strong plus.
Customer Obsessed You have a deep curiosity about how users work and what drives successful outcomes. You seek direct customer feedback and use it to inform product decisions. You care about solving real problems rather than simply shipping features.
Exceptional Communicator You can clearly articulate product strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs across technical and non‑technical audiences. You build alignment across engineering, design, and leadership stakeholders. You can write concise, effective product narratives that inspire action.
You can speak and present fluently in English to drive influence Preferred Experience Experience building CMS, developer platform, AI, productivity, or enterprise SaaS products. Experience working in fast‑paced product organizations where experimentation and iteration are core operating principles.
Knowledge of digital experience platforms, headless CMS architectures, content operations, or commerce technologies is a plus.
