Das ist der Job

What You’ll Own 1.

Darum lohnt es sich

You’ll be responsible for turning a strong product vision into reality, driving meaningful business and customer impact, and leveling up the product team around you. You’ll directly mentor and grow a team of APMs into solid PM2-level product managers while partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and GTM.

Define and drive a roadmap that modernizes the editor experience into a full‑featured, reliable, WYSIWYG‑style (or block‑based) editor.

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to shape positioning, messaging, and GTM plans; enable internal teams with the right documentation and training; incorporate market/field feedback quickly into the roadmap. 6.

Mentorship & Team Development Directly mentor and grow two APMs into strong PM2s, with clear expectations, coaching, and feedback. Transform Blogs into a modern, powerful editor with AI and SEO capabilities that users love. Earned a reputation as a go‑to strategic leader who can connect dots across teams and drive big, meaningful outcomes.

The role We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for three core products: Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager. This is a highly strategic, high-impact role for someone who can think in systems, ship fast with quality, and raise the bar for product management across the organization.

Product Strategy & Vision Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager. Translate company and product vision into clear north‑star metrics, long‑term bets, and a sequenced 12–18 month roadmap.

Identify and validate the most impactful problems to solve for our core customers (agencies, marketers, SMBs, etc.). 2. Ad Manager – Smart, Data‑Driven, AI‑First System Evolve Ad Manager into a smarter, less API‑dependent, more data‑reliant, AI‑driven system aligned with the long‑term product vision.

Partner with Data and Engineering to: Design systems that use first‑party and performance data to optimize campaigns, budgets, and targeting. Reduce fragility and over‑reliance on external APIs by building intelligent abstractions and fallbacks.

Integrate AI‑driven recommendations, automation, and guardrails to improve campaign outcomes and reduce manual work. Define and track success metrics such as campaign performance, time‑to‑launch, and user adoption of smart features. 3.

Social Planner – UI/UX Excellence & Competitive Parity Own Social Planner as a core flagship experience that can compete with other tools.

Lead major improvements across: UI & workflows (scheduling, approvals, calendar, collaboration, automations, comment management); Statistics & reporting (post performance, account‑level insights, content analytics); Controls for owners (permissions, approvals, governance, workspace controls).

Partner with Design to deliver a clean, intuitive, and scalable UX, and ensure high‑quality execution with Engineering. 4. Blogs – WordPress‑Level Experience with AI & Automation Make the HighLevel blogging experience seamless and familiar, comparable to platforms like WordPress, Wix, and Blogger.

Introduce powerful AI‑assisted workflows (content creation, outlines, rewrites, image suggestions, internal linking). Improve SEO tooling (on‑page recommendations, metadata support, schema basics, publishing workflows). Ensure blogs integrate smoothly into the broader HighLevel ecosystem (funnels, websites, SEO, content strategy). 5.

Execution, Delivery & Cross‑Functional Leadership Turn strategy into clear, prioritized roadmaps, well‑defined problem statements, and detailed specs where needed. Run discovery (customer interviews, data analysis, experiments) to validate problems and solutions.

Partner with Engineering to plan releases, manage scope, and ensure predictable and high‑quality delivery. Build a culture of data‑informed, customer‑obsessed, outcome‑driven product management. Lead by example on craft: PRDs, problem framing, stakeholder management, and prioritization.

Evangelize best practices around experimentation, discovery, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring 9-12+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3+ years at Senior/Staff/Principal level owning complex product areas.

Proven track record of shipping impactful products in B2B SaaS, ideally in: Marketing automation; Social media management; Advertising platforms; Content / CMS / blogging tools. Strong technical aptitude: understanding of APIs, data flows, and system design at a conceptual level. Experience working with data/ML/AI‑driven products is a strong plus.

Deep experience with discovery and experimentation: defining metrics, running A/B tests, analyzing usage data, and validating hypotheses. Demonstrated ability to rebuild or significantly revamp complex UX flows (dashboards, editors, planners, calendars, etc.). Experience mentoring and developing PMs/APMs, with examples of helping them level up.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment. Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous, high‑growth environments with multiple priorities.

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months) Within your first year, you will have: Delivered a clear, aligned 12–18 month roadmap for Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager. Shipped high‑impact improvements that make Ad Manager meaningfully smarter, more reliable, and more data/AI‑powered.

Upgrade Social Planner UX and capabilities to be competitive with leading social tools. Improved key metrics (ad performance, usage, retention, satisfaction) across your product areas. Developed your APMs, with clear progress toward PM2‑level ownership and performance.
