Product & Brand Manager – Dietary Supplements (Remote)
Anzeige auf Englisch
Ready to Build the Next Leading Supplement Brand in Europe and the U.S.?
We are launching a large pipeline of new products and rethinking the brand and portfolio from the ground up. This role is for a builder who wants to concept products, direct their design, and ship them at a pace this category is not used to. You will work directly with leadership on product concepts, brand strategy, positioning, and market expansion.
We are looking for people who want to take ownership, move fast, kill weak ideas early, and grow with the business. If you are excited by challenge, responsibility, and shipping real products, we would like to hear from you. You will work directly with Management. Feedback is fast and direct, and we expect revisions back the same day.
About Us:
Silicium Laboratories Europe develops specialized, science-backed, patented silicon-based dietary supplements, distributed primarily through online channels in the U.S. and European markets. Our brands, including LIVING SILICA® and Silicium Laboratories, compete in the premium health and wellness category through clinically supported products, proprietary ingredients, and direct-to-consumer growth strategies. We are building the next phase of our expansion across Europe and the United States and are looking for exceptional people to help us create new products, strengthen our brands, and accelerate growth.
Compensation & Bonus Eligibility
Annual Salary Range: USD $30,000 – $36,000 gross per year, including performance-based bonuses, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Bonus Potential:
Effective upon satisfactory completion of the first 180 days of employment and based on the goals and objectives agreed upon in the performance development planning process with your manager, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility, structure, and payout are contingent on achieved results and business performance.

Job Summary
Runs the product engine for LIVING SILICA® and Silicium Laboratories, from concept to launch, and owns how every product expresses the brand: naming, packaging identity, claims tone and visual consistency across product families.
Role Scope and Accountability
This role is accountable for:
- A continuous, scored product pipeline moving from concept validation to commercial launch.
- Design direction and coordination across packaging, labels, and brand assets.
- Brand positioning, identity, and equity across both brands.
- Pricing and portfolio architecture decisions.
- Correct and early routing of product claims to Regulatory.
Key Responsibilities
Product Concepting
- Generate, pressure-test, and sequence a continuous pipeline of new product concepts across beauty, mobility, healthy aging, topical, and professional lines.
- Define the job to be done before the formula. Every concept starts with the customer problem, not an ingredient looking for a home.
- Score every concept on one rubric: distinctiveness, strength of evidence, manufacturability, margin, repeat-purchase potential, claims risk, and cannibalization.
- Kill concepts early and in writing. Own the 12-to-24-month innovation roadmap and defend it with numbers.
Design Direction & Coordination
- Write creative briefs for packaging, labels, brand identity, launch pages, and sales assets.
- Direct and review internal designers, external packaging studios, and branding agencies. You are the single point of accountability for whether the work is good and whether it arrived on time.
- Own packaging architecture and run the label process end to end, driving correction rounds down.
- Build and maintain the brand asset library, including the historical visual archive.
Brand Identity & Consistency
- Define and evolve brand positioning for LIVING SILICA® and Silicium Laboratories.
- Create and maintain Brand Books (visual identity, tone of voice, core messaging, terminology).
- Build brand equity around proprietary ingredients, patents, and trademarks, and protect them from becoming generic.
Launch Management
- Own the Launch Package as one repeatable system: brief, formula coordination, naming, claims routing, label, pricing, bundle and subscription logic, assets, product page, listing, and launch plan.
- Coordinate formulation, ingredient selection, testing, and packaging with internal R&D and external partners.
- Set pricing and portfolio architecture: hero product, entry product, bundles, programs, and professional channel offer.
- Mine reviews, competitor reviews, Amazon Q&A, support tickets, and social comments for benefits, objections, and the exact language customers use.
- Run short surveys and interviews with recent buyers, subscribers, and lapsed customers, and convert answers into product decisions.
- Maintain the competitive white-space map against collagen, beauty, mineral, hydration, and healthy-aging brands.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Route every claim through Regulatory before anything is briefed, designed, or printed. Build the evidence-to-claim matrix that makes that fast.
- Align labeling and messaging with EU and US dietary supplement requirements (e.g., EFSA, FDA/FTC).
Operational Coordination
- Give the Marketing Manager and execution team clear brand and product direction, then hand it off.
- Align brand strategy and product direction with sales, operations, R&D, and leadership.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The Brand & Product Manager will be evaluated primarily on the following indicators:
- Speed to market: concept-to-launch cycle time and number of label correction rounds.
- Volume of output: a live, scored concept pipeline maintained continuously, and products launched per year.
- Launch quality: complete Launch Package approved first time by Regulatory and Design.
- Commercial impact: revenue, marketplace ranking, review volume and rating, and wholesale accounts opened against targets.
- Compliance of claims with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in brand management and product development, with products you personally took from concept to launch.
- Direct experience in the dietary supplements or nutraceuticals industry (required).
- Proven experience briefing and directing designers or agencies (packaging, identity, or both).
- Has built or applied a brand identity across a product line, not only a single product.
- Comfort with commercial numbers: pricing, margin, cannibalization, repeat purchase.
- Strong English for cross-border work with the US and EU teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building brands or launching products for the US market and online marketplaces.
- Familiarity with the US dietary supplement regulatory context (FDA and FTC).
- Experience building brand positioning around IP, proprietary ingredients, or premium claims.
Education
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Training in brand or product management is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking with a long-term brand-building mindset.
- Turns brand positioning into concrete product decisions: names, claims, packaging.
- Solid grasp of product development and go-to-market planning.
- Bias to ship: comfortable killing weak ideas and driving launches to completion.
- Works as a peer across functions without relying on hierarchy.
