We are looking for an ambitious, user-focused Product Manager to join our Consumer Selling team.
You will be part of a cross-functional team and will play a hands-on role in improving how sellers sell their car more securely and conveniently. You are good at communicating "why" we are building something to your team.
Description mobile.de is Germany’s largest vehicle marketplace, with more than 1.6 million listed cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and e-bikes (annual average 2025). You will support our mission to make mobile.de the trusted selling companion for private car sellers.
In this role, you will help bridge the gap between user intent and successful transactions, ensuring that sellers feel guided, valued, and empowered when listing and selling a car on our website. Requirements 1-3 years of product management experience: You have experience shipping features, managing backlogs, and working in an agile environment.
Data-Informed: You are comfortable digging into data (using tools like Looker or similar) to understand funnel leakage and user behavior. You prefer making decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. User-Centric: You have a passion for solving human problems.
You understand that selling a car is an emotional journey, not just a technical process. Cross-functional collaborator: You enjoy working closely with engineers and designers. Eager to Learn: You are curious about AI/ML applications in marketplaces and are motivated to learn how to apply these technologies to improve user experiences.
Marketplace Mindset: Previous experience with e-commerce, classifieds, or consumer-facing apps is a plus, but a strong desire to learn the automotive market is essential.
