Supply Chain Coordinator - FMCG (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their remote operations team, supporting the Free State region. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics planning for FMCG products.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize supply chain software and digital tools to track shipments, manage orders, and analyze performance data.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments (sales, production, procurement) regarding supply chain status and potential issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain coordination or logistics, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and supply chain planning software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
